Maintaining Temperature - where most systems go wrong

Getting Temperature Control to Point of Dispense
In situations where temperature controlling the dispense valve is not practical, only Saint Clair Systems has the experience and products that ensure temperature control at the Point of Dispense. We have focused on this part of the systems and many of our patents are on the designs and products found in this zone. Below are brief descriptions of our solutions.
Water Traced Hose Covers

When material is at the right temperature and you need to maintain that temperature to the Point of Dispense, our patented Water Traced Covers are often the best option.
Lightweight and flexible, they work very well in high motion and odd shape applications.
While technically not heat exchangers, they do create an environment around the material path that prevents heat loss or gain.
SOFLEX™ Whip Hose

Soft and Flexible, the patented SOFLEX™ Whip Hose is a variation of the Water Traced Hose Covers.
Lightweight and very flexible, the SOFLEX™ Whip Hose is ideal for high motion robotic or manual applications.
The SOFLEX™ Whip Hose is adaptable to most hose sizes and works with most coating materials.
Coaxial Hoses
Our coaxial hoses surround the material path with temperature controlled water.
The photo to the right shows our patented hose block design which accommodates an RTD at the outlet of the hose.
Our coaxial hoses can be used as flexible tube-in-tube heat exchangers for limited motion applications.
The picture to the left shows our patented Re-Coreable Coaxial Hose Heat Exchanger used in production for validation testing.
This design surrounds a Teflon paint tube with temperature conditioned water, turning it into a tube-in-tube heat exchanger. This allows temperature control to be added without any change in the existing paint flow path.
A unique feature of this design is that the reusable ends allow the inner Teflon paint tube to be changed (or "re-cored") when different paints or colors are used to prevent contamination and product quality issues.
The system is flexible enough to use in robotic or manual operations and provides temperature control all the way to the gun.
